Xbox Wireless Controller Available on Apple Store, Why but No Sign of DualShock 4

Apple store now has Microsoft’s Xbox controller on the online store where you can purchase it. You can use these gamepads with your latest iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV after the newest update from Apple. Support was added for the Xbox controllers and PlayStation control in the newest iOS 13, tvOS 13, macOS 10.15 Cataline, and iPadOS.

MacRumors spotted the controllers on the Apple Store, which were priced at $59.95. You can now buy it from Apple’s website as it is available in stock. At the same time, it is unclear when Sony’s Dualshock 4 will appear on the Apple website. According to the report, it is the first time Apple has sold a gaming controller from Sony or Microsoft.

It started supporting the Xbox and PlayStation controller in the latest iOS update, which you can use on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. While iOS 13, iPad 13, and tvOS 13 were released in September, the macOS version just released supports these controllers.

This week, the official support account for Apple on Twitter pointed toward a support page showing how you can pair the controller with your iPhone, Apple TV, Mac, or iPad. However, it is also noted that the controller audio jack and some controller functions are not supported when you pair them with the Apple device.

There were some reports earlier that it was mentioned that Apple was planning on bringing a mini Xbox, which will cost about $60 and support Project xCloud.

Project cloud is a new development from Apple in which they will provide game streaming technology which will give competition to the console hardware of Microsoft, and gamers will have more choices. It was introduced in October 2018 and might take some time to launch.
