In a fresh new TV series named ‘The First Lady’, actress Viola Davis will be portraying the character of Michelle Obama who has been the former First Lady of the United States. Additionally, Viola Davis remarks this was a nerve-wracking experience.
Davis also told the sources- “One is terrified when you are about to begin a job and you also grow fearful with the thought that you might get into notice and that you will soon be founded out this is a big imposter syndrome. However, when it comes to Michelle Obama, it’s like all the people have some extent of ownership of Michelle Obama. I mean, if you take a look at her book which was released previously, it literally turned out to be on every bestseller list. Everyone is well acquainted with the fact what she looks like, or how she sounds like, what her hair type is like, you know!?”

As per a report, Davis is also getting conscious yet concerned about what Michelle would think of Davis’ performance in the TV Series (The First Lady). The actress is also claimed to have told to ‘Entertainment Tonight’- “There’s this girl code in me, you know this sister bond that I gotta do everything from my end to make the sister look good, you know!”
“When you think about it, it’s just all those things that you hardly pay attention to as an actor because these things have nothing to do with acting. When you play something like this, you don’t need to draft any fake editorial reviews or comments. They are what they are, you don’t gotta put it in any gazette and water it down or make it look lessened.”
The actress also brought out appreciation and admiration for the Former Lady’s trust in the American Ethos. She also said to one of the sources “The ideals and ethos of this nation are life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for one and all, yet we miss out on these… I barely think it’s probably gonna be able to happen in my lifetime, yet I just wish it to be right… it’s a really popular thought, quoted by former United States Representative, Babara Jordan- “The People’s wants are very easy and simple; they want an America as good as it promises it to be.”
“And that’s what I genuinely feel like, I can honestly say that was Michelle Obama’s huge thing too.”
