Maruti Suzuki India has launched a new updated model of its famous MPV car Maruti Eeco in the domestic market. Adorned with attractive looks and good seating capacity, the company has introduced this car with a more powerful engine.
The company claims that this car will give more mileage than the previous model (Maruti Eco). The initial price of this car has been kept at Rs 5.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new Maruti Eeco has been introduced by the company with newly refreshed interiors and advanced features. The car is powered by a 1.2L K-Series Dual-Jet VVT petrol engine that generates 80.76 PS of power and 104.4 Nm of torque.

The company claims that its petrol version will give 25 percent more mileage than the previous model. In petrol mode, this car gives a mileage of up to 19.71 km. While the CNG version returns a mileage of 26.78 km/l.

In Maruti Suzuki Eeco, the company has included a reclining front seat, cabin air filter, dome lamp, and new battery-saving function. Apart from this, 11 safety features have been included to improve the safety of this car. In which electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), child locks, sliding doors, reverse parking sensors with illuminated hazard lights, dual airbags, engine immobilizer, and anti-lock braking system (ABS) are available.
Minor upgrades in the cabin include a digital instrument cluster, a new steering wheel, and rotary controls for AC and heater. Its petrol variant gets 60 liters of boot space. The car is offered in 5 colors, which include Solid White Metallic, Silky Silver, Pearl, Midnight Black, Metallic, Glowing Gray, and Metallic Brisk Blue (new color).

The company has launched the new Maruti Eeco in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. Apart from this, an ambulance variant of this car is also available, which has ample space and facilities for carrying and transporting patients. The new Eeco Tour is the cheapest model on offer. The ex-showroom price of the Tour V 5-seater standard is Rs 5,10,200. The AC variant of the 5-seater Eeco is priced at Rs 5,49,200 ex-showroom. The price of CNG trim starts from Rs.6,23,200. Whereas, the Eeco Cargo AC CNG is priced at Rs. 6,65,200. The cost of an Eco Ambulance is Rs.8,13,200.
