For the record, the actress in ‘Drishyam’ has also worked in movies in Hollywood such as ‘Life of Pi’ and ‘The Namesake’.
As of now, Tabu is heading forward for her upcoming comedy-horror movie, Bhul Bhulaiyaa 2. She will be seen along with other co-actors Kiara Advani and Kartik Aryan where the movie has been scheduled to be dropped in the theatres on 22nd May 2022. Besides gaining fame and glamour in Bollywood, the actress of ‘De De Pyar De’ has also managed to acquire the same in the West as well.
Talking about her prominence in Hollywood, she made her debut with ‘The Namesake’ which was released in the year 2006, and years after this she was also seen in a movie that shared the drama-adventure genre in 2012, ‘Life of Pi’, which earned recognition as well as won four Oscars.
TABU SPEAKS ON MAKING ENTRY INTO BOLLYWOOD AGAIN; SAYS WHY TO LET GO OF SOMETHING GOOD IS HELD:
Ever since 2012, she has not been seen in any Hollywood movies. Although in an interview, according to solid sources she said that there are no international or Hollywood movies in which she is a part.
The actress made a statement saying, “I feel I am done for this year, I am packed; I have got five films this year, I suppose that I can’t take anything else, I have begun the shoots of Drishyam 2 and Bhola. Yet, in case I get something better from the west side, then why not give it a shot?”
Tabu also realized a change in patterns that Indian actors once used to get in Hollywood VS how they get it now. She believes that the Indian actors are doing a great part in their part of the job. She said, “Unfavourably, the Pandemic struck just at the time when things were going to bloom and elevate, I just strongly wish that it will bring more working opportunities, collaborations, and other kinds of stuff.”
Next, she will be seen starring in ‘Kuttey’ along with Naseeruddin Shah, Radhika Madan, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Arjun Kapoor. She will also be featured in the upcoming spy thriller film, Khufiya and will be seen in lead roles with Wamiqa Gabbi and Ali Fazal which is based on a popular novel by Amar Bhushan, ‘No Way To Escape’.
