RM releases his album Indigo and offers his heart in the song “Wild Flower,” with which BTS’ J-Hope applauds.

On Friday, RM released his long-awaited solo album, “Indigo.” The Bangtan Boys, or BTS, have captivated the world with their music. RM is the second BTS member to release an album this year after J-Hope. However, j-Hope’s album, recently released before the newly released album RM Indigo is significantly different from this one.

Along with the album, RM also unveiled the song “Wild Flower” music video as the album’s lead single. Cho Youjeen is also featured in the song and contributed her voice to the track. During a Zoom chat with Variety, RM spoke candidly about his album and the band’s future. Each of the ten songs on Indigo is from a different genre. In addition, eight of RM’s tracks feature other musicians who have collaborated with him.

In the song, RM conveys his wish to live more like a wildflower than a fleeting spark. The struggle in his head is beautifully captured in the video. RM also discusses his journey, goals, what he sought, and what he has accomplished in the song.

The album by RM has ten songs. For the songs, the rapper worked with several other musicians, including Erykah Badu, Tablo, Kim Sawol, Mahalia, Cold, and Paul Blanco. In addition, the BTS management company, BigHit Music, had previously unveiled Indigo, an album that serves as RM’s diary.

The internet was swamped with proud comments and accolades immediately after the album premiere. As one BTS fan remarked, this is so beautiful—yet delightfully sad. Other BTS fans added words like “So deep, Nan-Joon is a great artist,” and there were undoubtedly more.

BTS, a well-known boy band from South Korea, announced that they would take an extended break and concentrate on their solo careers instead. Members of BTS, including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, announced that they would be taking an undetermined “sabbatical.” However, the Bangtan Boys are not taking a break, according to a statement from their management company, HYBE, which also noted that they would continue to work on separate projects.
