Nushrratt Bharuccha, star of Janhit Mein Jaari, discusses directors’ interest in her over and above glamorous avtar plays.
For her work in Janhit Mein Jaari, Nushrratt Bharuccha has already been flying high on a cloud of adoration. The actress, who has always wowed us with her colorful and eccentric portrayals, has received critical accolades and great feedback from spectators.
“During the times of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, my auntie must say, “Agli Baar to Kuch Aisi image Kyun nahi karti Jahan par to Kuch Kar Rahi ho,” Nushrratt recalls.
Then came films like Chhalaang and Chhorii, and an internet startup called Ajeeb Daastaans, which made me feel fulfilled as an actor. As a movie star, I am pleased with such an environment I have built for myself.”
Nushrratt Bharuccha Discusses Her Many Roles.
Nushrratt added, “In addition to how we embrace the opportunity that comes her way, “It’s fine if you’re regarded for a film, but things aren’t working out, but it’s much more painful if you’re not even recognized for a job. Your thoughts could either destroy you or guide you throughout this moment.
By concentrating on my work and appreciating what happened to come my way, I selected the latter. I’d want to have a more balanced set of options. However, since Chhorii, I’ve received an inflow of female-oriented screenplays. Movie makers remind me that they couldn’t see me past my glam persona once I had started, but even that has now evolved.”
Nushrratt Bharuccha’s upcoming films include Selfie, starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, and Ram Setu, also starring Akshay Kumar, and Chhorii 2. She would also be shown in a forthcoming Pan India film alongside Bellamkonda Srinivas.
