The student, a resident of a village in the Andaman Islands, left her home in the middle of the night and came to Faridpur to meet an online friend. It was told that the student was addicted to playing the online game PUBG. While playing the game, the girl student befriended a young man from a locality in Faridpur and the friendship gradually turned into love.

Location found on mobile surveillance

The girl student was so engrossed in the love of the young man that on the night of January 23, she quietly left her house to meet the young man. When the student did not reach home, her family members searched for her. When she was not found, the family lodged a report with the Andaman Police. The police there put the student’s mobile on surveillance and her location was found in Faridpur.

After this, the girl’s family and Andaman and Nicobar police station reached Faridpur police station and sought cooperation from Faridpur police on Tuesday. The police recovered the girl’s student and handed her over to the Andaman and Nicobar police.

Money was taken out of father’s wardrobe

During interrogation, the student told that through the game she had talked to Bablu alias Raj Pal of Mohalla Para. On January 22, she took out Rs 10,000 from her father’s almirah and reached Kolkata by plane from there took a Kolkata Jammu Tawi Express ticket and reached Faridpur youth’s house on the night of January 23.

During interrogation, the young man told that the conversation used to happen through social media. The student herself came to meet. The young man had also taken the student to his aunt’s place in Dataganj. At present, the police have handed over the girl to her family members.
