JBL Live Pro 2, which has the “world’s first” smart charging case, just when you thought there was nothing more you could do with wireless headphones.
The charging case has a 1.45-inch LED touch display for music management, earphone sound customization, and call acceptance. Phone texts and social media notifications are also possible.
Design of JBL Live Pro 2
The shiny back of the stem adds a bit of design to a price where function is usually valued over appearance, but the JBL is a decent combination of the two. On the other hand, the look may attract specific fingerprints and smudges.
The buds, available in four hues (blue, rose, black, and silver), are quite pleasant to wear for long periods.
If the headphones do not fit the first time, three other sizes of ear tips are available.
The water resistance is IPX5, making it more water and sweat resistant than other noise-canceling earbuds. However, it is important to remember that the grade does not indicate waterproofing (which is IPX7).
On the Live Pro 2, touch controls are used and perform well. The right earbud is for playback, with a touch for play/pause, a double tap to go ahead, a triple tap to skip back, and a hold to activate voice assistance.
Price and Availability of JBL Live Pro 2
The JBL Live Pro 2 will be available in champagne or black finishes and will cost AU$ 350 when it launches in January 2023. JBL claims it has yet to make plans to launch them in the United States at the time of writing.
However, for this price – and with a smart screen that no other audio company has yet to offer – the JBL Tour Pro 2 is a sure bet, assuming the sound is good enough.
Features of JBL Live Pro 2
You may customize the sound in the Personi-fi 2.0 program by instructing the buds to use whatever sonic profile sounds best. It starts with an environment noise check (you must be in a relatively quiet area), then moves on to a wearing status check. Then it makes nine chirpy sounds in each ear, and you remove your finger when the sound is hardly audible.
During the Ear Canal Test, another music clip is played. The hybrid True Adaptive ANC will then take care of the rest, allowing you to sit back and relax. . Although the Tour Pro 2 minimizes low-level sounds, you can still detect unnecessary background noise.
The sound quality of JBL Live Pro 2
While the Tour Pro 2 wireless earbuds’ shell is undeniably gorgeous, they also pack a significant auditory punch. There’s also an ambient sound setting that lets you hear what’s happening around you by tapping a button.
Personi-fi 2.0 technology from JBL delivers both spatial audio aid and a customized sound experience. The oval tube shape of the JBL Tour Pro M2 is complemented by 10mm dynamic drivers with True adaptive noise cancellation with ANC and ambient sound customization.
Battery life of JBL Live Pro 2
When using the smart charging case, the Tour Pro 2’s battery life is said to be up to 40 hours. JBL’s Tour One M2 headphones, on the other hand, offer a battery life of up to 50 hours or 30 hours with ANC enabled.
In several ways, JBL’s Live Pro 2 exceeded my expectations. The noise cancellation is excellent. The audio is a flawless performance with a slight emphasis on bass, the design is comfy, and the app has all of the functions I’d expect from a more expensive, accurate wireless device. As a result, the JBL offers excellent value for money.
