By the middle of December, it will be elementary to get approvals for business in more than 20 states and union territories of the country. The Commerce Ministry has informed today that by December 15, 5 more states will join the National Single Window System. Till now, 16 states have been connected with this system. The ministry has informed us that a meeting is to be held next week to review the progress and status of the system and has also expressed the hope that by the end of the year, all the ministries and departments of the government will be connected to this system. In contrast, by the end of the financial year, all the states will have Businessmen will start taking advantage of this system.
What is the specialty of this system?
The purpose of preparing this system is to help business people to get different clearances. Under this system, 248 Government to Business clearances are given to businesses. These clearances are related to 16 states and union territories and 26 central ministries and departments. Under the system, business people have received more than 44 thousand approvals, while more than 28 thousand approvals are in process. According to the ministry, after the feedback received from the industry, many other blessings and licenses are also being added to the system.

At the same time, Haryana, Andaman and Nicobar, Tripura, Jharkhand, and Arunachal Pradesh can join the system by mid-December.
