Crater takes place in the distant future and follows a group of young boys who live in a lunar settlement. Caleb Channing (Mescudi), who was raised in a lunar mining settlement, will be permanently relocated after his father’s death.
Caleb Channing decides, however, to fulfill his father’s final wish with the help of his best friends Dylan, Borney, and Marcus, along with Addison, a recent arrival on Earth. The group hijacks the rover to embark on an adventure that will lead them to a mysterious crater.
