Like the updates in our life, software and apps need an update to survive in a world becoming more techno-savvy!
With this, Instagram has added a brand new feature in the reels category, which will allow users and creators to post a reel of a maximum of 90 seconds instead of 60 seconds.
Snapchat, Youtube shots, and Tik Tok are tough competitors of Instagram, and to maintain the followers, Instagram has initiated this step. The Meta-owned platform has rolled out longer Reels, Reel templates, etc.
Short videos are more popular among the young generation than the now-10 minute long videos of Tik Tok, especially among the creators. And thus, not extending the duration much also, 90 seconds are perfect for what you want to convey to your audience!
Moving on to the other latest features, Instagram has also announced several other features that make Reels easier. These include templates, interactive stickers, new sound effects, and the ability to import your audio.
New sound effects now include effects like air horns, crickets, drums, and other sounds that users can now use in their Reels. Meanwhile, the import audio feature lets users add commentary or background noise from any video at least five seconds long.
So update your app and enjoy the new features!
Stay tuned for more updates!
