Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Yojana (Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Yojana) was started in 2015 by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of Haryana. Under this scheme, the Haryana government deposits Rs 21,000 in LIC on the birth of the first girl child born in SC and BPL families. At the same time, the same amount is given even if there is a second daughter of any class. This amount can be withdrawn only after the daughter completes 18 years.

Aapki Beti Hamari Beti aims to stop female feticide in the state, improve the sex ratio and provide education opportunities to the girl child.
How to apply for this scheme
To apply for this scheme, first of all, you have to visit the official website wcdhry.gov.in. After this, you have to click on Schemes For Children. Then you have to click on ABHB (Apki Beti Hamari Beti). Or you can directly click on the wcdhry.gov.in/schemes-for-children/abhb/ link. Then you have to download the form of the ‘Aapki Beti Hamari Beti’ scheme by clicking on the link given below.
After this, you will have to fill out the form of birth certificate of the girl child, vaccination card, residence certificate, BPL ration card, income certificate, caste certificate, and parent’s Aadhaar number and submit it to the nearby Anganwadi center. After this, after checking the form, you will start getting the benefits of the scheme.
