Nokia CEO Pekka Lundberg honestly thinks that by the period 6G is widely available, smartphones might not be the most prevalent medium.
As per CNBC, Nokia CEO Pekka Lundmark thinks the 6G network operators will be fully operational by this decade. Yet, smartphones might not be the primary “standard platform” after that. During a conference held at the World Economic Forum in Davos, he stated that he expected 6G to be commercially available in about 2030.
As questioned when the globe will shift away beyond smartphones towards wearable tech and other gadgets, Lundmark predicted that it might emerge before the introduction of 6G. “Sooner or later, the smartphone will undoubtedly no longer be the most popular integration, even though users currently know.” As per CNBC, “most of these technologies will be fully integrated inside our bodies.”
6G WILL BE INTRODUCED BY 2030, BUT SMARTPHONES WILL BE DISCARDED, SAYS THE CEO OF NOKIA:
Though Lundmark did not specify the type of technology he was referring to, several businesses, such as Elon Musk’s Neuralink, have already developed brain-computer configurations. Musk posted a video in April the previous year showing a man-type monkey playing “Mind Pong” with chips implanted on both sides of its brain. It was unloaded, even though it had been programmed to operate a joystick. Just by considering moving its arms, the monkey could use the joystick.
Furthermore, the precise meaning of 6G is still unknown, as many nations worldwide, including India, are yet to receive 5G connectivity.
Thereby delivering a speech in November the year before 2022, the Minister of Indian Communications, Ashwini Vaishnav, stated that India is continuing to work on an advanced radar 6G technology and launch it as soon as 2023 or by the beginning of 2024.
When addressing a telecom panel discussion, Prime Minister Modi stated that a task group has also been established to prepare India for its rollout of 6G technology throughout the forthcoming ten years.
